I want my clients to understand that mindfulness doesn’t always have to be dreadful, that it can be fun and exciting as well!
A Body Scan
can be a great way to practice mindfulness, and it’s a tactic that many professional athletes use to relax and get ready before their sports performance.
A Body Scan is a mental search to notice what is happening in your body. We are often unaware of how our body communicates subtle things to us, like “feeling tired” or “feeling tense.” The more aware we can become of our bodies, the better we can meet our body’s needs.
